Dear Mary

My piece Dear Mary will be included in the upcoming exhibition Not the Camera, But the Filing Cabinet: Performative Body Archives at Gallery 1C03, University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, MB.  The show will open in Fall 2018 and will be curated by Noor Bhangu.

Textílsetur Íslands

I will be participating in two residencies in summer 2018: one at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY, and one at Textílsetur Íslands (The Icelandic Textile Center) in Iceland.  During both residencies, I will be making textile weavings as part of a new series of work.

Fold in on itself

I exhibited Fold in on itself, a solo exhibition at Schleifmuhlgasse 12-14, Vienna, Austria in February 2018.  I attended the opening and gave an artist talk on February 1.

BlackFlash

Noor Bhangu discusses my practice in “The Language of Landscapes and Photographies”, in BlackFlash 35.1.

Illuminations

I curated the exhibition for MAWA’s 2016-2017 Foundation Mentorship Program.  The show ran from December 8, 2017 to January 5, 2018 at aceartinc. in Winnipeg MB.

SPACE Gallery in Portland, Maine

Landscape was installed at SPACE in Portland, Maine in July 2017.

Exhibition at MacLaren Art Centre

My large photo installation Granary (Anticipated Collapse 2009) was exhibited at the MacLaren Art Centre in Barrie, Ontario from July-October, 2017.  The exhibition, titled Re-enact, was curated by Renée van der Avoird.
