She has participated in national and international residencies and has been the recipient of Canada Council, Manitoba Arts Council, and Alberta Foundation for the Arts grants. Driving Home is a panoramic 12’ x 7’ video that places the viewer in the passenger seat of a vehicle as it drives home to my farm. My sister’s intimate monologue, which describes her experience as a young woman farmer in a male-dominated environment, is heard through a speaker situated at the viewer’s shoulder, suggesting a real conversation.
